In the animated portion Dante is wearing the DMC4 coat, carrying two Beretta 92s and no sword. In the title card he is wearing the DMC1 coat, with Ebony and Ivory, and the Rebellion on his back. Sounds to me like a prequel/origin story, and I'm here for it!

It's been soooo long since the last animated series, Happy to see a new one. Always wondered why such a badass group never really got a series in the spotlight, Dante's just badass. Hope we get to see the whole cast in all of their glory.
