My dog came back as 50% pit 35% lab and 15% golden retriever. I wish I could clone him and the exact dog for the rest of my life. He was a tough puppy to raise and train. Not a bad pup but definitely headstrong and a bit mischievous, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Love him to pieces.

My pit lab is my first dog and so easy to care for. Gets along with all dogs. Gets along with all children. Doesn’t like to fetch. Likes to play tug of war. A lot of things said in this video are very wrong. Weighs 36 pounds of pure muscle. Great watch dog. Ignores ducks, geese, deer and other dogs. Loves to chase squirrels and lizards. Cornered a toad and would pounce to make the toad jump like a toy.. No interest in harming the toad.

Our 50/50 Pit-lab mix is coal black..full of energy, ideas, tenacity, and LOVE LOVE LOVE. He want to be with us..and likes his schedule. He turned one today..and he is maturing a bit slower than some breeds. But HE IS TRYING ALL THE TIME TO HEAR GOOD BOY!! Needs: Be consistent..no is always no...reward gentleness and calm..rave over obedience..and always let him know you love him. Physical punishment must NOT HAPPEN!!! Discipline depends on exercise..play/training..and a firm tone and follow through when necessary!

Totally wrong for me Pitador. Not destructive at all even after 8hrs alone in the house. 30 mins of fetch or a trail hike and he’s pooped out. Protective of house when we’re not around. Easy dog to care for.
