Kolmården Vlog July 2022

Our trip to Sweden continues with a visit to Kolmården! This huge wildlife park is home to one of the most spectacular roller coasters in Europe, Wildfire! This huge wooden roller coaster manufactured by Rocky Mountain Construction opened in 2018 and in this vlog we share on ride POV's from this beast of a ride. Along with that we check out the other rides at the park and take a walk around the animal exhibits. This includes a ride on the spectacular 30 minute cable car over the animals!

If this park adds some more roller coasters and advertises as half theme park and half zoo, it could become Europe’s bush gardens which would be soo cool!

Ohhh my days! Wildfire looked like it was flying round. Love the turnaround before the 1st drop. Well worth a 3.5 hr journey.

Wildfire has been a top 3 bucket list coaster for me ever since I first heard about it. It’s crazy how a zoo of all places could afford to build an RMC.

Charlotte managed to get a water ride at Kolmården even though they don't have one😂, btw we had a rainstorm in Gothenburg yesterday so you where there at the perfect time😀

Can't help but feel an RMC like wildfire suits Thorpe Park perfectly instead of Exodus, Chessington Would also be perfect with the animal park theme.

What a great idea to have gondolas to view the animals! Also, can't believe you both got on that coaster when it was pouring like that! That puts all those log flume and other water rides to shame! Great vlog! Had so much fun watching it.

We can see why you were prepared to take on the complicated journey. Like you say, those two big attractions, Wildfire and Safari looked exceptional experiences. Plus you have the Aquarium...sea life attractions add extra (better than at West Midlands Safari park). I've taken a look on Google Earth and see this park is close to the Estuary and plenty of camping going on. Thankyou for showing.
