It’s an honor to serve and participate in two wars to defend our homeland. I highly appreciate your participation in wars . We observe every day our soldiers and officers loosing their lives in the war against terrorism. We also see old fathers and very young sons receiving green flags, uniforms and caps with the dead bodies of shaheeds in lieu. I find living dead fathers and sons standing absolutely still with no tears in sight to receive ! Only those who have lost their loved ones understand bitter feelings. General you are lucky survival of 2 wars and rewarded with higher ranks . Your story reminds me of my fatherly brother, a young major participant of wars ended up his life in the early days of 71 war . I understand the pain !
We have continued untold stories and experiences of our loved ones loosing lives every other day. Khetran was not alone. We too have furnished our graveyard with Shahada! They are pride of the nation and are nerving millions of us . Nation is obligated to salute the saviors of our motherland at the cost of their lives and dependents . They deserve the most ! We are confident of theirs place in Jannah!

Arun kheterpal fought on even after his tank was disabled and eventually his centurion tank was knocked out by Major Nasir of 13 lancers. General sb hasn't mentioned that Major (later brigadier) nasir was all praises for arun's unparalleled bravery.
