I'd like to think that this movie will be a sort of redemption ark for Hans
Like whoever is ruling that kingdom learns of what Hans experienced so he or she go after Elsa, Anna and Arendel as revenge for what they did to him
So when Kristoff, Sven and Olaf are in prison Hans breaks them out and helps them as he understands that he was a big jerk and deserved the punch in the face
Maybe when Anna sees him she goes to punch him but Kristoff holds her back saying that he's here to help
