Any Vampire Diaries fan knows what Vervain is. This was a great box! I love the sword necklace as I have an affinity for swords and medieval style necklaces.

Being the Ravenclaw I am, I just spent 15 minutes researching vervain. It is an ingredient in the potion for mad dog bites, which is taught in fourth year.

I made philosophers stones just like those, but mini, to hide around Universal Studios Orlando last year when we went. They were fun to make and fun to give. Planning on making a good number of them to hide during Halloween Horror Nights this year as well.

Although a few magical box companies have done the philosopher’s stone, that one is very pretty. Wrapping it to look like the movie was a nice touch.

Mystic Falls, Virginia is where most of the Vampire Diaries show happens. Vervain was grown and used to defeat vampires. It weakened and burned them to the touch, or consumed. Alot like wolfsbane used towards werewolves. Beautiful reference! The blanket and philosopher's stone were my favorite artifacts in this box ❤️🤘🏼

Well that's co-inky-dinky. I literally just finished watching 'The Order of the Phoenix', saw you had posted, started watching, and the first two Harry Potter references I see / hear were both from that movie. Spooky!

And Vervain is how the vampires are kept from influencing peoples minds in the show The Vampire Diaries.

I love the invisibility blanket the most! I also have no clue what’s the connection between vervain and magical artefacts. However I have two species of native vervain in my garden, hoary vervain and blue vervain. So I must be safe from vampires 😆

The hair comb is probably from a belief that if you comb your hair with a fairy comb that you gain magic and wisdom. And there’s jade combs that are made like this that is said to help your health and hair grow. So it’s actually quite clever if you think about it.

I think I was the only person who didn't like the Headmasters box but I love this one! The Diadem comb and the blanket are my favorites. I love light blankets
