I lived just west of the great Rocky Mountains for 35 years. I remember the -40 temps, the square tires, tires squeaking as you drive and how the air is so cold that it hurts when you breathe in. But boy oh boy the sun rises and sunsets and northern lights were a amazingly beautiful!

Bastard! Watching at 6 a.m. -32C and you show me smoked chicken and brisket!? Then a cold beer!? Do you know what the wife will do to me if I start cooking beef and chicken at 6 a.m. while cracking a beer!? My mental and physical health will be under threat, but hers will be just fine with that cleaver in her hand. I’m a bit surprised your little drone worked in those conditions. Kinda impressive, really. Stay warm, stay safe, and turn to the east three times a day and raise a middle finger towards Ottawa. My new religion. Does my heart as much good as a new QDM video.

That brought back memories. I use to haul ground out of Hombolt back in 2000 when I had my highway rig on with Penner Intl. I loved the back roads of Sask. Thanks for the memories QDM.

I miss Saskatchewan. In the 80's i attended briercrest. Just 15 miles of moose jaw. Had the chance to tour with groups around the provinces. My favorite place to build would have been qappell valley. Some of the best memories i have from life. Thanks for reminding me of its beauty

The Dam Smokehouse is so good, people from Tisdale drive there for supper. I'd say it's even better than some restaurants here in Saskatoon. Sure the drive out will cost ya, but you'd save money not having to pay for an expensive meal. All it would cost you is time on the road...with square tires.

Speaking of square tires, I think it would've been awesome to have you and Jamie Hyneman (Myth Busters) pull up to the Dam Smokehouse with actual square tires on! Would they shake the piss out of your fancy electronics? Hell yeah...but it'd be funny!
