I'm one of probably 95% of the people that don't need the Pro features. People buy it because they want the latest and greatest, but most of them really don't use the Pro features. This is really a great phone. I have it in the Midnight color, and when I held it next to my black XR, you could definitely see the dark blue undertones.

Here after I got the 13 today, upgrading from XR, which I've been using for the last 4 years. Wasn't planning of upgrading at all since my XR is still very solid and running so well with the battery health still at 84%, but my mom's phone broke and she wouldn't accept anything grand and brand new. So I gave up my XR, which still looks spanking new, and gave it to her and then got the 13 for myself. I noticed right away the difference in the hand grip, iphone 13 is actually narrower than XR. Also, kind of a deal breaker is the warm tone color. I've always preferred the white cold tone. but then that must be because of the difference in the display. 13 is OLED while the xr is IPS LCD. In any case, I've no regrets with my choice. There's not much difference in the price with iphone 12, but if you're planning to upgrade to 12, just go for 13 instead.

120hz is great but ios is so amazingly optimized that 60hz feels fast enough compared to Android phones. You would notice the difference slightly but then again it's really not a big deal as everyone makes it to be. Iphone 13 itself is a big upgrade from 12. Brighter screen and much better battery life compared to 12!

I'm fine with the 60hz because animations are still smooth on iphones. Android on the other hand, going from 120hz to 60hz is really noticeable.

Apple relies on forced image completion, which means that within the limited 60 Hz, each frame provides additional elastic stretch detail animations and other content information to help the user blink and complete the image in disguise to make the system feel more fluid.

I really enjoy my iPhone 13 in Midnight color with 128 GB. This way better than the iPhone 14. Not to be Disrespectful to the ones who have the 14. Cause they're the same designs but with different features.

8:01 matter of fact: 120 fps gaming on iPhone Pro models is a joke, it suffers from huge frame drops due to thermal throttle and screen dimming issues so 60fps gaming is good on vannila variants but on the Pro iPads 120 fps gaming is better
So, don't buy iPhones if you want to play competitive games on 120 fps instead you can go for gaming android phones.

Im upgrading the base 128gb iphone 13 next week. Im uprading from samsung a32 5g. I dont care about 120hrz. If i want tk play games i play my xbox or my ps.
