As a son of Italian father and Dutch mother, I’m sure many of these scenes played out in my parent’s early marriage. Not to mention My parent’s lived next door to my Italian grandparents. Too bad that by the time I came along most of the battles were fought and my mom became a great Italian cook! But I used to hear the stories.
