Makes sense - now if you could support a folder structure (or track color) in these pickers that would be awesome. I always create folder tracks for my individual groups for faster finding and less scrolling.

This is such a huge workflow improvement :-D! I've just got two questions:
1. Does this activate a send or direct out in the kick channel (in this example) or is it using another "invisible" side chain bus under the hood?
2. Does the selected sidechain input get copied when I copy a plugin with activated sidechain to another track?

actually, sidechain is active but not recieving the input signal (in the input level meter, so it is not sending the output signal) 'but' the interesting thing is that the compressed signal is showing up' somehow, which is cool' BUT this does not effect the reverb channel in my case.. still having that lushy reverb is surrounding the vocal signal.. (SIDE CHAIN IS NOT WORKING) which is not cool.. seems like a bug..
in the forums i cheked and saw that people gone mad about this.. what is your suggestion for people are stucked in their mix by not being able to sidechain because of what?

for this example and my understanding, the compressor should've already been added to the synth track right? Bc he wants the kick to go through the compressor on the synth track, but then adds the compressor to the synth track. Is side chaining only used when you dont want to put the effect on the track directly and you dont want to send it to an fx bus? YOu side chain when theres a one off on a track that you want to use for another track? Sorry i know i sound confusing. thanks

I can't get the side chaining to work on my Cubase 10.5. it shows going through the compressor but the efx does not come through

This only shows how to sidechain the stock compressor... What about sidechaining iZotope Neutron? I use the dynamic EQ in that plugin because it's so easy to sidechain... but how do I set it up to read another track?

I updated to Cubase Elements 10 on the premise that it would now allow me to use the Sidechain feature, but the Sidechain button is still not there. Why?
