I grew up atheist, joined the Catholic Church for my husband, then I got saved and God brought me to a mennonite church. I finally met some Christians for the first time in my life. Mennonites have so much right.

He doesn't send children to hell, they are not accountable until they are old enough to come under conviction. Non-resistant, not pacifists and we don't consider ourselves protestants; you completely misunderstand shunning, and we will affirm like the Bible says, not swear. The Munsterites are not considered anabaptists - we don"t consider them a part of our history, they were a blight on anabaptism

Anabaptist would not 'Shun' someone 'Bad' they avoid constant association.
When using the word 'Shunning' when speaking of Anabaptist, it would be well to remember this word has a specific meaning which applies to those within the fellowship.
The distinction there is Fellowship of like-minded believers within the worship and where SHUNNING is the purposeful disassociation with members who are in sin in the hope they will return. This would mean, Anabaptist would not/could not use the action of shunning outside the fellowship. Thus one did not Shun BAD PEOPLE as stated, these are Avoided in the sense of association.
Of course, this may seem a bit unimportant to this nice lecture, but simply stated, it is the Biblical nature of the Anabaptist that seems missing. This radical push came about by .Priest' mainly because the Bible was finally becoming available to read. The priest was beginning to see the Catholic Church's rules were in fact not based in scripture. The Anabaptist were attempting to follow scripture tho the best of their ability. I myself believe we mush interpret history in this way. So Avoidance of Evil people ) began as a way to avoid evil and those who are described as in 2 Timothy 3. Shunning was an attempt to correct those who deliberately brought sin into the fellowship. In all Anabaptist Shunning, it is to be done with the loving attempt to bring back into fellowship the brother/sister who is in sin. We find literally dozens of verses about avoiding evil people and works. It appears Shunning was a way to avoid evil withing a congregation using 2 Thessalonians 3:14-15, while allowing the act to help bring the person back into the fold so to follow Galatians 6:1.
Given all this, we must remember that Anabaptist did not avoid those who were sinning and in fact brought quite a following into the fold of Christ. Though many Anabaptist has become more closed and even cultish like many old order sects, many still offer good Christian fellowship.
Peace, in Christ

How can a child repent? Without knowledge of good and evil.

Your view of why Zwingli believed in infant baptism is doubtful due to the promises of God in baptism as being more likely.

Why would you think that God, the most righteous judge there is, would pick people for his eternal kingdom based on where they were born here on earth?

From what the priest in the video was saying, the Anabaptists strove to believe and live what the Scriptures teach--"Sola Scriptura".
Catholics do not believe in "Sola Scriptura"--hence the great differences.

The bible says, you hear the gospel, believe, repent, and are baptized. I think the order is significant. Baptists have it right in my opinion. God cares about your heart, not dead works. He doesn't have some requirement to have things done here on earth that he needs us to do. He wants our heart, he wants us to believe in him and trust him.

this video chooses to lean on the question of Baptisim or re-baptisim, but spen not much time on the breaking of comadments by the Catholic church by supporting wars. and did not spend any time on the drowning burning and crucifiction of Anabaptist for their beliefs. so pretty one sided and wrong. go read some history that challenges you and your sound bit bad quote version of history

Your deadwrong, Ana baptist are the original christians until the 17 century that ana was drop and the name BAPTIST remains, Ana-Baptist believed that first, you must have a credible statement of faith as the only biblical acceptable way to administer the ordinance of baptistism.Salvation comes first before Baptism-Acts 2:41...What ttCatholiche Catholic teaches is infant baptism which is called Rantism(Sprinkling)and Racism(Pouring) rather than Baptism which is immersion...There has never been in the NT a baby that was ever baptized (immersed). All are adults who repented and accepted Christ were baptized...Read the Scriptures...
