The only reason Sukuna lost was because of Yuji's soul punches and dismantles, and as Sukuna would put, those are lethal for reincarnated sorcerers like himself.
Uraume herself said that they are lucky Sukuna wasn't in his true form or they would have been toast.
So, don't compare Heian Sukuna with reincarnated Sukuna, of course being in his original body made him invincible.
