16th Street Mall/ Denver- A mile-long pedestrian-friendly mall packed with shopping, restaurants and attractions in downtown Denver. Designed by famed architect I.M. Pei.

Appaloosa Grill-Airy, employee-owned bar with eclectic menu of refined American comfort fare & live music nightly. The Bananas Foster Gooey Butter Cake is a revelation.

Kealoha’s BBQ- Unfussy food stand doling out Hawaiian BBQ & fried meat with rice, plus burgers & shrimp tacos from the sweetest couple from Hawaii.

Illegal Pete’s- Fast Casual Mexican food with legendary burritos and tacos founded on the Hill in Boulder. They have happy hour every day from 3-8!

ChoLon- This is the first location of this modern Asian restaurant in Denver and was nominated for a James Beard award for Best New Restaurant. They also have a location in Central Park with two ones coming to Sloan’s Lake and DIA.

Flight Club- They call themselves Social Darts for good reason. This is not anything like the seedy pubs I used to play darts in. This place is gorgeous with phenomenal food and drink to match.
