Beacons Way Day 1. Llangadog to Carn Pen-y-Clogau

Day 1 of a 4 1/2 day walk along the outstanding Beacons Way. Starting at Llangadog I walked to a wild camp at Carn Pen-y-Clogau.

Definitely the quieter end of the Brecon Beacons. Looks a great walk, good to recognise the sections of it that I've happened across.

Great video Dave. I know the Carreg Cennen area reasonably well, but not from that angle. I need to add this route to my bucket list! Thanks for sharing

New Sub - looking forward to the rest of the Beacons Way. I think you are sporting the Vaude Powerlizard - I have an older UL one, I think they are SUL now - good tents, nice and light.

I am going to do this next week. I don’t fancy the heatwave too much that’s being forecast. Where their plenty of water sources on the way?
