Out of curiosity, why not ship the PCs in the boxes the case came in? It's already the exact right size and has the foam molded to the case shape. I could just be clueless but I am genuinely curious

Just use the Box of the case. Not only it reduces cost but also reduces the packaging.

Be careful where you store the boxes, you really want it to be a dry place, humidity just ruins them in less than a week (makes them soft and they'll break at the slightest touch), if you can put them on the pallet so the "airflow" is good, and they'll be away from the floor's humidity and bugs, also avoid putting them too close to the walls :)

I know used market have really good value sometimes, especially if you are on a budget. What are the PC components that you wouldn't recommend buying used in a PC?
