21 Film Photographers You Should Know

Happy new year! I wanted to kick off 2021 with a Monthly Favourites, and how better to do so than with a list of 21 of my favourite film photographers, across genres but mostly focusing on portrait photographers. This list is, by no means, exhaustive and I hope to do more of these videos in a similar style to showcase even more of my favourite photographers. Keep your eyes peeled.

Another great presentation on film photographers. I am film from back in the film days and enjoy digital but there is just no artistic challenge there. Too easy. Film work is more organic and is more from the human than from the computer. Of course I use the darkroom but I get it that not all can do this because of space. Kudos to those young photographers producing such excellent film work. Thanks for sharing.
