I know everyone says that Judd Trump has the most cue power in the game of snooker, but I'd argue it's Neil Robertson. The difference is Judd uses his power mainly as exhibition, so we see it more often. Neil on the other hand, only uses his power when he really has to, so it remains a weapon he keeps in the back of his arsenal. Neil also has the better control of the cue ball in regards to the two players, so he is playing fewer recovery shots where his power becomes necessary to use. It is clear in this video just how little effort Neil requires to screw the full length of the table, whilst even in Judd's case when he is using a lot of power, you see him put his whole body into the shot, something which Robertson has no need to do. Another thing is that Robertson is by far the better cueist, famed for the solid, straight nature of his action, whilst Judd is someone famed for not cueing straight. This means that there is no wasted energy in Robertson's action, warranting him more power for less effort.
