In your every day life, always remember if you see something "out of place" say something. That simply means if you see something or someone doing something that does not seem right, or out of place, notify your local public safety or law enforcement agency.

When you specify that someone monitor an event which requires counting, they reasonably spend more effort on that event and less on the remainder of the scene. A better test might be viewing the video first and asking questions afterward regarding observations. This seems more like a test of multi-tasking. I enjoyed playing the game though.

I'm absolutely terrible at this and came here after searching for how to improve my situational awareness. I thought I did good and realized I failed miserably. I took the Myers Briggs 4 letters test, and it told me that I get so lost in thought that it is actually dangerous for me. But the answer was to deliberately step out of my comfort zone and put myself into situations that require situational awareness like sports.

I noticed the ice cream to pizza, the suspicious bag placement and the glasses, also 8 people in orange shirts got subs. Oh and the man serving the subs changed from a man in a blue shirt to a man in a white shirt. Can't get shit past me 🤣

If you didn't ask the questions I could have told you everything that happened in the video. The questions made me focus on the game you played against my mind.

The test told me to focus on a specific task… if I was to be observing the scene as a whole I wouldn’t have dialed in on one specific part that I was directed to.

In the real world, I wouldn’t be paying attention to people getting food from a food truck. I’d pay my attention toward suspicious or potentially suspicious activity such as the bag being left on the ground. Also, the truck changed as soon as you stepped in and frames changed. The truck didn’t pull away and get replaced which I could admit. Regardless, I counted 8 orange shirts getting a sub so I guess I can’t count or someone that previously grabbed a sub came back which wouldn’t qualify as “another” person.

No one in usual situations would count how many certain people do something. lol. Most people would be curious why people are being tossed free food and attempt to catch some for themselves. So a more accurate test of situational awareness would be to give no silly mission and simply say, “Check out this video.” And then explain at the end.

At 0:06 Those questions are worded in a way for asking another person, not for asking myself. You seem to be having a problem with situational awareness in your writing.
