This video is proving very useful. I’m currently trying to get Windows ME (don’t judge) installed on an old Dell Pentium 3 laptop with no floppy, no CD-ROM and it won’t boot from a USB CD-ROM either 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ve plugged the laptop HDD (via an adapter) into one of my retro systems, have followed your process of copying the Windows files over (along with someone else’s instructions on making the disk bootable) and so far, it’s going great.

Thanks dude 👍🏻

You DON'T format an SSD you Quick format it with the /q switch "format c: /q" You perform a quick format so it does not write the entire SSD over and wear the memory cells. Such a waste!

Thanks dude! I've installed Windows 98 from CD plenty of times and got sick of "insert Windows 98 CD".
