Hi, I had 2 years of German in High School back in the 70's. I love the German language but not very good at it. I do listen to German Shortwave radio programs from time to time to see is I can understand enough to know what the discussion is about; usually not.
You have an excellent annunciation of English and German and your channel has been an excellent review as well as helped me learn many new German phrases and conversational language topics.

Anja, Sie machen alles so klar und einfach. Gute Erklärungen. Ich wollte fragen, wie man ihm selbst etwas versprechen kann? Kann man zB. sagen:

"Ich habe mir versprochen, dieses Jahr einen besseren Arzt zu finden..." (dativ - geht das oder nicht?)
"Weh, ich habe mich versprochen! Ich wollte sagen, eine bessere Arbeit zu finden." (accusativ)

hast du eben (jemandem etw) versprechen gesagt. Und auch dass das Wort versprechen im Fall Dativ kommt?
Könntest du mir bitte mal davon was weiter geben dass wie bzw woher identifiziert man über Dativ und Akkusative Verben?
