June and I visited with you this morning, I'm the one living up the street aways. Thanks for the tour and for taking the time to visit with June and I about this very interesting setup. I have shared this video and the picture I took the other day with all of my email and Facebook friends. You have an amazing rig here! Love it!

Reminds me of folks carrying a Hobie Catamaran on top of their Chevy/Ford/VW vans in the early 80's!

That is cool! Hats off to you. I have thought of doing something like but have never seen it in reality. This is a great idea for any boater who launches in places where parking is limited as well.

My fist question was why, but when I seen your end goal. Nothing else need be said very impressive.

That just looks way to top heavy. I suspect the truck is helped by airbags but if one blew out it might be a catastrophic accident.

Back about 30 years ago, I owned a boat dealership and we hauled a lot of our own boats from the mfg. We used a 1/2ton truck with a rack system. It took a lift to get the boat off the rack, but it wasn't too bad if a ride. With today's suspension systems, it would be a lot better than what I used. I probably would have used a Dually to tote the pontoon boat.

I love it, you get to see the USA and all the lakes you want too, if you get to central Fla let us know on pontoonforums, or just join to show off the places you get to go we don't, we love pictures.

I feel sorry for that truck. A comment says it's been inspected, but by who? By my calculations, there's a about a ton for the boat/motor, 800-1200 for the trailer, then another couple hundred pounds for the rack and ramps, all on a vehicle with bed capacity of 2200 lbs....

i would think if you had this much money you could just have the boat shipped to where your going.how often do you actually move it like this. must be hell with any kind of wind.

How does it continue moving forward once the tongue passes the winch?

Should have built a double deck trailer, I am having a custom one made now, it will carry my Jeep Wrangler on bottom deck and my 13 ft inflatable boat with motor on top deck, the upper deck will go up and down with a remote control, the trailer will also be used to launch boat.

How long is your boat, I have a 22 ft Smokercraft and the same 4 stroke as you, the weight should be comparable?

Looks top heavy but as long as you don't make sharp turns, you should be fine, right?

Accident waiting to happen. Never mind the safety of innocent bystanders.

Maybe they should think of a way to stack an ATV on top of the pontoon lol

Are you still in business or can you tell me how to go about getting this setup? This is a perfect solution for our RV trips. What State are you located in.
