Nestlé is a Swiss transnational food and drink company headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. It is the largest food company in the world. Nestlé's products include baby food, medical food, bottled water, breakfast cereals, coffee and tea, confectionery, dairy products, ice cream, frozen food, pet foods, and snacks. Twenty-nine of Nestlé's brands have annual sales of over $1 billion, including Nespresso, Nescafé, Kit Kat, Smarties, Nesquik, Stouffer's, Vittel, and Maggi.

Nestlé was formed in 1905 by the merger of the Anglo-Swiss Milk Company, established in 1866 by brothers George and Charles Page, and Farine Lactée Henri Nestlé, founded in 1866 by Henri Nestlé. The company grew significantly during the First World War and again following the Second World War, expanding its offerings beyond its early condensed milk and infant formula products.

I really appreciate that you were straight forward about their human rights abuses. We need to be more honest about how inhuman our companies are. This is a great channel.

WW1 and 2 were great years for billionaires

So at first they "wanted to save lives" and "ended up making profits".
Then they "wanted to make profits" and "ended up destroying lives".

Also, when you buy Nestle pure life water you're basically purchasing your own tap water

Nestle is so dominant here in Malaysia. Milo and Nescafe drink is available in 95% restaurant around the country. Maggi is default name for every instant noodle.

So their policy is simply make more money at any cost and buy more competing companies while you still can to expand the brand.

Wow, interesting to see origin of the company was based on trying to solve a moral problem [infant mortality]. Think there is a great lesson to be had there!

Nestle is sadly one of the most evil corporations on this planet - and this is saying alot considering that most corporations are like this. But they continue to take the cake - their own of course, it needs to be nestle cake.

My middle finger has been performing exceptionally well over the years and is certainly a market leader in its field. The forecast is that my middle finger will continue to prosper, gaining a lead on my other fingers. Hopefully Nestle will acquire my middle finger soon.

This is why we need tougher monopoly laws!

I just wanna say...this channel is great! I subscribed to you guys a while ago because I love learning about stuff like this. Regardless of what one thinks about the companies being discussed, this type of history is fascinating to learn about. Please keep making more videos about huge companies like this. I've been to many other channels on YouTube and none of them are doing anything like this yet. You guys are definitely onto something here!

I've been boycotting them for several years now, since I became educated on the issues. It feels great, and although they still sell their products to those who don't know any better (or don't care enough), it feels great to never touch their crappy shit.

I normally defend businesses when people say "BIG BUSINESS IS EVIL" but not this time. Not Nestlé. Not those assholes.

Weird thing, Nestle used to be pronounced "Nessel" in a large amount of countries until the mid 90s.
