Hello everyone thank you for joining for another disc review.... Today I am giving my thoughts on the Discraft Luna from the Paul McBeth line! This is supposed to be a very straight bead less putter lets see what I think of it!

It feels good in the hand for throwing but I prefer the challenger for putting. Now if that plastic starts sneaking into Challenger runs, I'll be stoked

I just got my hands on a CryZtal Z 5x Luna (it was $50 on ebay with tax/shipping). I'll update once I get to throw it. I'm an Am that is still working on his form so I may not be the best judge. Drew. Keep the videos coming brother. You are a great player and I know people will want to hear your opinions at the very least.

The plastic is nice new but it wears in pretty fast and I don't want to constantly have to cycle in new putters - not interested in the whole artificial scarcity thing that Discraft is doing only releasing limited runs of other plastics either. My lunas will be out of my bag soon

I spin putt them. Switched from pro aviar I had used for over a decade. Loving it, especially in windy conditions. They get to the basket quicker but don’t glide out any worse.

I thought this was supposed to be over stable. I turn mine over every time I throw more than 150’. Maybe it’s just me, but I do like the Luna for putting within cir1.

It would be better if you threw the disc a bit more before giving a review, seems unprepared and just doing it for clicks. I bag the cryztal Luna and that thing is a beast, i call it the teebird of putters because it goes so far

big z lunas are pretty expensive, running around $60-$80 per, cryztals running around $30+ unfortunately. (from what ive seen on Ebay) ESP ones i havent seen too may of but theyre usually hovering at 50$ ish.

I bag two lunas and I use them both for throwing putters. One is a beat in one that I can flip to flat and it goes straight. And the other is a ESP Luna which is a little more stable.

I’ve heard Paul say that this model Luna is a mix of rubber and plastic, which explains the tackiness.

No way I'm getting a Luna after seeing and reading reviews. The stability is all over the map! It's ridiculous!
Some companies make different molds, to account for how different plastics will contract when cooling. But not Discraft! They'd rather it be a crapshoot of inconsistency. I was leaning towards Discraft after buying a Z Buzzz and a bigZ Heat, and liking them, but what I'm hearing about the Luna is unacceptable. Even if it is a really cheap disc, that's still money wasted. At least they don't sell these for a premium price, like some do, just to pay for all the hype and publicity. I'm probably going to get a Stabilizer (I'd love a Challenger OS, but they only offer them in cheap 1-month best before date plastic).

I'm still learning discraft plastic but isn't biz Z a less stable plastic? And if it is why would he be using it as a throwing putter?

Thank you for the video. I prefer your pro review to the other reviews because I trust that you are throwing with good form. However, if your looking to grow the channel it would be nice to see a more in depth review and maybe you could bring in an amateur player that you know throws consistent with pretty good form to offer another perspective.
