Cebu Pacific doesn't provide anywhere near the facilities and comforts of a major player. They would have to upgrade their whole fleet to attract international customers

PAL is an apple and CebuPacific is an orange, can’t compare them, these are some reasons why: PAL is a full service airline, CEB is an LCC (low cost airline); PAL has multi-class seats( first class business class and economy class), CEB has only economy class (though they say they have premium economy) it still is economy class seats; PAL’s passengers prefer quality of service than being On-time, they cater to people who are at a certain class level (A B or C) while CEB caters to class C D and unfortunately E (being the ultra low cost pax-e.g. piso fare buyers; PAL and CEB doesn’t compare at all with regards to quality and luxury or service, low cost is low cost..apples and oranges…Legacy vs. LCC.

Bank Cartel World Bank is always there for Lucio Tan. World Bank put it under the Philippines debt. It's how Bank Cartels run their business.

PAL was doing well as a private company until Marcos Sr. and his cronies acquired it, and it was downhill from then on. Again privately owned, I hope it succeeds to remain afloat coz it has so much history behind it that we could be proud of. Besides, it's the Philippines' flag carrier! Obviously Cebu Pacific is a better-managed company and I hope it continues to do well.
