Go to staples and have the binding cut off and they can also three ring punch I believe. I did that and they’re all in binders.

I would suggest taking another look at the phonics 1 book. Generations phonics moves pretty fast. God’s story 1 is added for quarters three and four. I feel it’s a lot for first grade but we are just slowly working our way through it and my son is learning to read!!
I saw they had their sale last week but thankfully they have them pretty often. I do want to order some of their family Bible studies to do with my older kids.
We are really enjoying what we are using from Generations this year.

Thank you! I have a weird question... how do you think it would work to combine Generations Math with Life of Fred for a new 2nd grader who was average/good in math during 1st grade with TGATB? My son (almost 8yrs old) could really benefit the Godly focus that Generations offers, but I also think he may really enjoy the silly side of Life of Fred. Is that trying to do too much though in your opinion?

How advanced does the Math 1 book get? All rhe examples I have found it looks like a lot of shapes, measuring, addition, and subtraction. It seems simple for 1st grade, but I LOVE the pages and how they incorporate God so well! We used Abeka for K5, so curious how it matches up with their level 1. Abeka just seemed like a lot.

Do you know when the math became available? A big reason I chose MasterBooks after we quit TGTB was because Generations didn't have their math available at that time. It looks very nice and straightforward which I appreciate.

Does the math continue in that form as they get older, or does it become more bookwork? Would it then be hard to move over to LOF later on, like it is from other math programs? I love Life of Fred & you absolutely should do a review of it. ;)
