I’ve used VNAV once and never used it again because it always causes the nose of the plane to dive so every time I’m 220 miles away from my destination I start descending and I always manage to land properly.

my plane goes full bill cosby on me and descends slightly nose down (so does yours, a little) almost forces it's way to the set alt. I engage vnav as soon as i hit cruise. What am i doing wrong

What altitude do I set for the arrival airport waypoint? Because when I set it to 0ft it says that it can’t engage VNAV because there is no altitude set for that waypoint.

What if you did a altitude wrong and your way over the runway or your way too low for the runway?

One thing I suggest everyone do is MAKE SURE to ARM VNAV at cruise. The reason why is because if you arm it to late then when you realize and enable it. It will pitch the VS to like more than 2000 and then when your less than 10, 000 ft if your speed is over 260 then you might get a violation. So watch your speed as you go to
