Tips:
1. Try resizing props maybe they will look like something entirely new and possibly be helpful for your island.
2. Expiriment with devices. You might find out something very helpful
3. Try using props for what they are not used for this coukd also combine with the first tip. if you dont get what i mean here is an example: the floating island prop (not kevins) if you resize it's hight and flip it over it will look like a mountain of some sorts which brings me to my next tip.
4. Don't just use one resize option try using others (width, depth and hight) props will look different.
5. Try combining props to make something. I don't know how to explain any examples but the island "the sculpture gallery - gun game" is a great example.
6. Try planning out the gallery's you will use by placing them down or putting down signs in places you will remember them of each gallery you will use or something like that.
7. Subscribe to mustard plays to get all the building tips and tricks you need.

My tip: when ur building a creative map especially for a deathrun just lay down all the customizable objects down with the right settings on so u don’t have to change the settings every time u want to place the object down

Me! I'm experienced! I've got a couple tips for you guys...
1. Use the grid island! Its the best island to use as it has the largest boundary and easy-to-use grid tiles on the floor. You can even teleport players under it for sections will swimming water!
2. If you're new, turn Building to Prop OFF. It can be really hard to get started if you're using B2P. Build some stuff on grid first to practice first.
Hope I helped😛

My tip: If you are making a horror map or any map that is interactive, you can use: triggers, buttons, music sequencers, death barriers, barriers, perception trigger, mutator, trick tile and more. I will keep updating this every month.

Im rather experienced
1: watch videos to find out every single mechanic so you can implement it to your map.
2: use barriers where ever you can. You get so much more memory
3:if you're using not using grid island delete all extra props like trees that come in the map.
4: if your making a map for other people to use make it as easy as possible to use like "use teleporters, don't make them run for more than 30 seconds.
5: make it fun.
6:use billboards to tell them stuff use the boarder off setting and the clear setting to make it look more clean.
TL;DR make it look nice with good mechanics and easy to use
Edit: i hope i helped somebody😊

Tip: when making a Mini Royale, FFA map etc; I highly recommend to focus on the game settings first, to make sure it's actually playable.

I have a big tip: do not use grid snap when working with terrain. It is so much easier to make the prices blend in. Also I would suggest increasing terrain size by ALOT.

My tip: When you’re making a whole map, with you’re own terrain, I recommend using the oasis island, since it’s almost entirely ocean, and it has a lot of space.

TIP: When creating a map, think about the terrain you will use. If you are making something small, like a box fight map or 1v1 map, grid island is useful, as it is flat and you can see the grid tiles, for extra precision. For Zone Wars, I suggest Horseshoe, over Rivers Edge or Tropical, because Horseshoe has swimmable water and more varied terrain, making it similar to the Chapter 2 map. If you are making custom terrain, use grid island or Kevin Floating Island, since it has swimmable water.
