► The morning of 27th January 2023 started like any other for Nicola Bulley, she left her home in the small village of Inskip like she would every day. Her routine was to take her two daughters to their school in a neighbouring village just a few miles away from Inskip and then to go and walk the dog nearby. She had no idea that she was about to be the centre of a media frenzy.

This tiny village with only a few hundred inhabitants is named St Michael’s on Wyre, located in Lancashire. Generally speaking, there’s not an awful lot going on in this village, it’s a very quiet and peaceful place. It’s one of those small settlements where everyone knows one another and the community is considered to be very tightly knit. Despite the usual peaceful nature of this place, it was about to become the setting of a highly unusual incident.

Strange how this case just abruptly disappeared after weeks of being in the news and I've never felt that we have been given the real story of what happened to her

The fact that she was making plans with a friend does not preclude a suicide. My mother had a friend that was talking with her sister-in-law on the phone about a wedding they were to attend that afternoon. She suddenly put the down the phone and her sister-in-law heard a gunshot. It happened that quickly and with no warning. Absolutely devastating.

The fact more middle aged women have gone missing since and many found later in water such as lakes and rivers has me worried

This case is a sinister one. I saw one discussion that somehow links her disappearance to her father’s shady business dealings. After watching it, it kinda makes sense why this case will remain unsolved.

I just find it odd that Willow was sitting by the river. I know dogs differ in behavior, but it seems strange the dog wasn't in distress and not barking at the river. I don't know, something doesn't add up.

Im in uk and i find this case strange that she was missing for so long without a trace with hundreds looking for her, yet her body was found not far from were she went missing yet they say it was accidental drowning i find this so stange even if she slipped and fell in the river it would of been easy for her to get out, there was loads of over hangs to save herself were she went missing was a incline with stone step she was sat on a bench on a video call, its just a weird one that leaves everyone thinking.

I'm from the state of Maine in USA . I found a dead man.About two hundred yards from my back door in the woods which he disappeared from the motel next door after the cops and wardens and even his family had been searching for him back there and everywhere for a year and a half and I went For a walk with my girlfriend.And we stumbled across and faced down in the stream a year and a half later. Very strange

Police were very inept in this case, the river as said was calm and was only waist high. You could walk through it, unless it was suicide, not a chance she would have drowned. We will never know what happened but it just does not sit right and it feels like we were all being treated like idiots.

The reason the Police did not want the public to get involved is simple, the Police wanted to stick with the 'Nicola fell in, end of story' line. The cops always crave the easiest option to save them work.

I live in Northern California and I remember hearing about it on one of the national morning news shows. I always wondered why the police didn’t bring in a search dog right away to see if the dog could pick up her scent.

Peter foulding made a statement that he and his team saw on sonar a body shape in the water, he offered to dive and see if it was her. The authorities denied this.
Police later added that when they dived at the spot they didn't find anything.

Peter Faulding has since said his radar picked up Nicola's body but Police were not interested. Makes it more curious
