He's pretty famous in France too, he won "Dance avec les stars" few years ago... His contaporaries where beyond good. He's dances on "chandelier" and "Don't rain on my parade" are still regarded as some of the best dances worldwide

He is a really talented singer, dancer and composer. He composes his music himself and has made an album "Selfocracy". It is so incredibly tied to our reality. I adore his album. He was also part of the Eurovision Song Contest. He even produced a short musical film of about 30 minutes. It would be very nice if you could watch his full musical video and his album and react to this.

Please, check his new song Mr/Mme. It's his first ever song in French and it's absolutely amazing, literally breathtakingly beautiful. Lyrics, vocal and overall everything is the best I've ever heard. That's a type of music that makes you learn french, just to understand this one single piece of art.

Your observation on this artist was as astute as the song itself. You have some deep waters, Tara. I think as a society the United States music industry is sleeping on these international artists. In many ways, I think it (and through extension us as United States citizens) have become insular, by ignoring the contribution of the worldwide music scene, and is in dire risk of becoming stale. Thank goodness we have platforms like YouTube to break us out of our shell. And now that your channel has grown so much, you and other musicians/singers can help people break out of their musical apathy with using your platform to educate and inspire us. Many times, we don't know what we are missing until we hear it. Dimash, Nightwish, Hua Chenyu, the Hu, Loïc and many others - They can enrich our lives by their technical artistry as well as emotional and intellectual depth.
