Sheep recognize the voice of their shepherd and follow him because they trust him. Scripture refers to humans as sheep and calls Jesus our Good Shepherd. As we study John 10:1-24, we learn that Jesus gave His life for His sheep, and He desires to lead us to an abundant life in Him.

I prayed verses from John 10 over my dearest friend in the world as she was dying… her sister called & put the phone on speaker so my friend could hear me. What a sweet gift that I will always cherish.

Pastor Skip speaks truth..I did hospice for many yrs and NO ONE ever said “ I wish I would have sin more”.
And, Pastor Skip is also right..the thief ( Satan/ Devil) will try to the very end to steal you from God, try to kill you( or talk you into it) or try to destroy you so you blame God for doing or taking from you. Satan doesn’t give up..I felt the darkness in the room and it was awful to see folks that mock God, took their own fate into their own hands, or flat out rejected God…it was awful to watch…all I did was pray being one with God in those situations that God would have mercy on these folks and kept whispering to them PLEASE CALL OUT TO JESUS THE LORD..HE IS HERE, DEAR FRIEND!
Please know evil is real..we must let people know! God bless.

When you prayed for the election season--I actually got a chill up my spine! While the 2016 election had its drama, this 2020 election is mud deep in it. Oh for such a time for our nation's citizens, including myself, to humble themselves and call upon HIS name! Because we honestly, HONESTLY be renewed by the creator of this universe!

Pastor Skip made a pun without even realizing it. Talking about sheep, he mentioned the “ramifications.” 18:10

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
John 10:11
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
John10:18

John 10:11&John10:18 vs Matthew 26:38, 42, &44 and John 10:8

Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
Matthieu 26:38, 42, 44

But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
John 10:8

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Matthew 7:12

Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
Matthew 26:52

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
Matthew 26:53
What’s changed within such a short period of time, from Matthew 26:38 through Matthew 26:53? What about the hypocritical nature of his of him portraying he who came before him as an hireling who fled hastily when he saw the wolf coming, but with him no need to worry, that’s not going to happen. If true, why Matthew 26:38?

Which is which here in such a huge sea of confusion coming out of Jesus’s own mouth, ?
In the entirety of the New Testament, you can go on and on with ridiculous confusion about Jesus, and that was that already said of him in Luke 2:34. Set aside any biblical knowledge you might have had, and try to fine tune the various biblical passages to come up with your very own conclusion, and don’t be surprised to find out that a load of nonsense that we found ourselves in, and for which we pay a great deal by the leniency of God to his cherished creatures of heaven.
