Pure Storage Brings the vVols Back at VMware Explore

When VMware announced vVols as part of vSphere 6 in 2015, there was a tremendous amount of excitement. But the technology never really established itself as an alternative to NFS. Now that vSphere 8 is here, it might seem strange that Pure Storage is leaning in to vVols once again, but maybe the technology is really ready for prime time?
