Singing of our beloved savior Jesus Christ!! Absolutely Beautiful"If That Isn"t Love", was written by Dottie Rambo in 1969 a Southern Gospel singer and a prolific writer of over 2000 songs. Elvis would have been well aware of Dottie and her songs, and he obviously liked this one particularly, judging by the quality of his performance.
He recorded it between ten o'clock and midnight on the evening of 16th December 1973 at the Stax Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. It was released on the album "Good Times" in March 1974. Beautiful song, sung by a beautiful man. I do not own this song, or some of the pictures. No copyright intended.

In 1972ish Dollie Rambo wrote 12 songs for Elvis Presley to record. I know her as a wonderful God filled singer and songwriter since I was 14 years old. I'm sure I bought every LP and cassette at the time that I could get my hands on. She wrote over 2500 songs. Her and Elvis were very close friends when he went to her and ask her to write for him. He only got one song recorded out of 12 before his passing. I remember that day very well. This is that song. He passed in 1976f my memory is correct. She lived to write many more songs. But she never forgot her friend. She talked of him often. And she later recorded this song in Christian music and it was #1 on the Christian charts for years. It was sung in churches and chiors for many years after that. They have both passed on but their music remains.
