Thank you! I am a teacher looking to transition into project management. Earned my CAPM and CSM to better prepare for the transition. I definitely use project management skills regularly as a teacher and tried to clearly translate that on my resume. I feel like teaching in many ways is project management at its core, but I'm not having any luck with the jobs I've been applying for. Even the alleged entry-level positions seem to require some kind of experience in "official" project management roles. I've heard about most organizations using AI applicant screening systems and wonder if maybe I'm getting automatically sent to the trash since I don't have "official" PM experience. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve my odds of getting a human to review my resume?

I’ve just started as the (only) Project Coordinator for a young, too-fast growing business and it’s already very clear there is very little actual planning and structure to any of the existing projects. Being new to this role and industry it’s rather daunting as I already feel responsible to try and pull this out of the gutter before it all crashes, but don’t have a huge amount of authority. Do you have any advice on coordinating and organising projects where the Project Manager isn’t the best at communicating and planning delivery? The business has a huge backlog of potential/existing customers and the overall aim is to make a good public impression as the business rapidly grows. As far as I know there aren’t any project charters or clear project plans and my to-do list is already miles-long, mainly playing urgent catch-up whilst battling with a very disorganised database. I really want to succeed in Project Coordination and Management and this role is my first entry into this area. Please help! Any advice is greatly appreciated 🙏🏻
