I think if WWE ever wanted to make these past characters return, they could use a story that Ali injected them with some sort of mind-controlling virus. Even though it was proven to be an act? We got a glimpse of Reckoning having a seizure on RAW. They still could use that seizure as some kind of malfunction. There are still so much stories to be told with this Retribution stuff if booked right.

Out of all of this, I think MACE was the one that nailed it. His gimmick looks like something out of Cyberpunk. I meant that in a nicest, way possible

I feel like they chose the wrong superstars to represent something like Retribution.
Mustafa Ali is the only one that makes the most sense to me.
He literally lost it all twice in the same exact year.
The Kofi storyline was supposed to be him but unfortunately injury took place.
Then he was supposed to win the MITB but they gave it to Brock.
The rest of these IMO are just rushed and thrown together.

Honestly, this group has potential but their intial introduction and booking has been terrible. They also gotta get rid of these stupid names and corny masks and just go by their original names. But at this point, I don't think WWE has any real long term plans for them. Such a shame cause there are some great wrestlers in this group.
