So Sans Canonically did the Default Dance - Undertale

This is the story about that one time where Sans from Undertale did the Fortnite Dance and how it's canon.

The Fortnite Default Dance meme has been around for a long time. It has faded off in the last couple years but many people remember it. Sans from Undertale doing the Default Dance was one of the biggest memes out there. There have been many fan creations of Sans doing the dance. This Sans meme was actually recognized by Toby Fox himself and TobyFox actually incorporated it into the Undertale Alarm Clock app. The Undertale Alarm Clock App has stopped development as of now because the developer moved to Deltarune Chapter 2 and beyond but the dialogue was published as part of the Undertale 5th Anniversary. There you can see Undyne talk about a game she played with Sans Alphys Papyrus and more where Sans made a goal and did a finger pointy arm crossy dance. Which is the description of the default dance from Fortnite. It's amazing how this ended up canon.

So yea Sans did the Fortnite Dance and it's canon. Sans is a really popular character from Under Tale and Delta Rune. He has involvement in Deltarune Chapter 2 but we don't know his involvement in Chapter 3. He is the most popular character in Undertale alongside of Spamton and Spamton NEO from Deltarune. Not counting W.D Gaster. The Fortnite Default Dance was a big meme from 2018 and 2019 and there have been fan animations of Sans doing the dance. Mainly because Megalovania sounds similar to the default dance meme. It's amazing how it's canon. This was recognized by TobyFox and Toby Fox made an Easter Egg of it in the Undertale Alarm Clock. Which as of right now isn't continuing development due to the developer moving to Deltarune Chapter 2 and beyond. The dialogue was published in the Undertale 5th anniversary not to be confused with the Undertale 6th anniversary where Deltarune Chapter 2 was teased. In this video I used the Deltarune OST and Soundtrack with Nows your chance to be a also known as the Spamton theme or Spamton meeting. Not to be confused with Spamton NEO and big shot. Mike isn't in this video either nor is 1997 or Flowey. Undyne is in this video and so is mention of Papyrus and Alphys. This isn't a theory or a set of theories and I am not MatPat from Game Theory. The Knight isn't mentioned in this video from Deltarune. Neither is Prunsel.

The fact that Undertale is set well after the 2010s(With Chara having fallen in 201X), makes this even better: Even if we assume monsters are years behind humans with this stuff since they rely on stuff falling from the surface to find it, Sans is literally reviving a dead meme just to piss Alphys off.

For some reason Alphys' reaction was funny to me. Usually she's really shy, but when Sans does the "Finger-pointy-arm-crossy dance" she just pushes him away :P
It's also funny that Sans went over to her knowing it'd annoy her. I guess in the Pacifist ending Alphys recognizes Sans and says hello to him without getting all embarrassed like she does with everybody else, maybe they're actually really good friends?
