Many job seekers often wonder what their recruiter does all day. They have to leave messages for their recruiter and may not get a return call until the next day. Along with the wonder, frustration starts to set in. The popular statement, “There is never enough time in a day,” is a reality for most recruiters. To build a rapport between job seeker and recruiter takes trust. To gain trust, takes time.

We'd like to help you build that trust by giving you a behind the scenes look at what a day in the life of an executive recruiter from Lucas Group is like. Let Nicole walk you through her day at Lucas Group from the moment she arrives at the office through everyday activities of making calls, connecting with candidates, and making placement.

How to correctly get a job: Never get a job through an agency, ONLY THROUGH THE ACTUAL COMPANY. If they are hiring only through a staffing agency, its a very strong sign your salary will stay the same/be a lot lower than what other companies offer for the same position. Because they're using a staffing agency in the first place, this implies they want to cut down the costs to hire new employees.

Hi, do you also recruit canadites who are looking to get sponsorship through an H1B in the field of technology?

LOL! Eat in the office? It’s important to detach yourself from your job and duties during your break so you don’t feel overwhelmed or stressed all day. What a terrible expectation. Garbage company.

haha I used to work for an agency like this. It was a great start but I'm glad to be in-house now, it's a much better fit for me. Come to my channel for relaxed videos on recruitment and other stuff!
