Thank you Matthew and my gratitude extends to all members of the production team. My comment is not intended to critique the content of Science for Sainthood which is high quality and insightful.
I was born in 1951 and throughout my Catholic life I would be inspired by traditional Catholic art depicting import events in the life of Christ and the Saints. However, I would suggest that for young Catholic people (and those contemplating becoming Catholic) see such art as only that, beautiful paintings from a time long ago. When I think of what it was like to live back in Jesus’ time these paintings look more like fairy-tale images. This was clearly not the mindset of Catholics per-vatican II.
I respectfully request that you stand in front of a ‘green screen’ to make it possible to add a background that present day viewers can relate to and show images that closely portray people and society in the world today [the good and not so good].
It is said that “a picture speaks a thousand words” and that music is the language of the soul. It transcends ordinary language and connects directly to our emotions and inner experiences, serving as a powerful form of expression and connection.
I am aware that each episode is time limited and there is a lot of dialogue to get through, but a well place pause with music and contemporary imaginary would give viewers time to digest the information and emotional connect to the message you what to convey.
