I would like to see if the Asus Crosshair hero Vlll Extreme is everything its cracked up to be especially all the hype behind it. Would love to see a threadripper and would love to see how you would configure this, ssd? graphics? add in card, for the m.2 . I think it would really be something to see you take it through the Gill build or buy testing. It would be something to see after youre done. Just saying. Keep up the great work you do Sir. Very informative video. Pretty similar to the Supermicro AMD workstation. By the way, Do you have any video about the Supermicro Threadripper motherboard? I got the Workstation and I have many questions!!

I wonder if AMD will faze the trx40 completely out and run with the TR PRO. $865 for the Zenith II Extreme and $1000 for the WRX80E isn't much more money for twice the ram channels and 56 more cpu lanes. Rumor has it the next generation ZEN3 TR PRO's will be 12/16/32/64 cores. ZEN4 TR's socket will jump from 4094 pins to 6096 pins.

Is the MC62-G40 available for purchase anywhere yet? I want to pair it with a 3955WX for my new home server but can't seem to find the MC62-G40 anywhere yet.

Hi Gill, I've been watching all your Threadripper Pro content over the last few months (I also like all your NVMe content). I've decided to build one to replace my aging i7-6950x (which won't run Win11). I've decided on the Asus WRX80E Sage with the 3975 TRP. I figure this is the closest I'll get to HEDT for daily workstationy things (VMware workstation, programming, light video editing (but I am not a "content creator")) and super gaming rig.
I have many parts now and am starting the build. You can follow my progress as I post it to YT (click on my profile to get to the channel I think? I'm not much of a YouTuber, so I don't know how all this works yet)
If you have questions on the Asus Sage, let me know. I at least fit it into case so far :)
