"Don't piss anybody off" That statement completely contradicted everything else he said, you can't get to the top without stepping on people's toes along the way.

Zack Ryder reached for that "brass ring." And guess what happened? You buried him Vince.

how are people supposed to reach that brass ring when Vince decides who gets to reach it?

People are not as "ambitious" because your show is PG and you limit wrestlers from doing what they want.

The way Stone Cold repeats "millennials" is laden with disgust and incredulity. This podcast was an historic moment in the WWE, all its own.

"Everyone is scared to fail"

Well when you've set yourself up as the only place where a wrestler can do

The real reason no one goes for the brass ring is that they are scared and they should be.. The "system" can screw them up in many ways with any excuse. They can de-push somone if they think they don't have the look, don't draw money even though the talents have nothing to do with the terrible build up, criticizing the product or certain talent even if the criticism is done in an professional matter, them giving up hope on a superstar for one simple injury even if their golden boys get injured more often. And if the fear doesn't stop the superstars, then the management's awful favoritism will. They cling onto their main eventers and part timers. They throw away new potential and well written storyline outcomes for a quick profit. They complain about their lack of star power yet its their own fault for not giving new talents a proper chance to strive. Instead they get half attempted pushes that are doomed to not fully go over. So with all those factors and if there's any I forgot to include in this comment, its no suprise hardly anyone simply goes for the brass ring

WWE is at a point now where they were 10 years ago 2004-2005, building up new stars like Batista, Cena, and Orton...hell even 20 years ago in 1994-1995 building stars like Taker, HBK, and Mankind. Obviously WWE is looking to build Rollins, Ambrose, Wyatt, and Reigns up but lets be honest they are never going to sell out any stadiums for WrestleMania. Honestly their characters are recycled... Rollins is just another CM Punk, Ambrose is another Mick Foley, Wyatt is another Undertaker, and Reigns is a future Cena... I'm pretty concerned about the future of the company once Orton, Cena, HHH, etc. leaves.

Vince said that Cena is the only one to have reached for that brass ring - CM Punk also had that brass ring but we all know what you did with him…

I think Vince is accepting the fact that the WWE is at a low point and has to do something to come out of it. The WWE pretty much has a monopoly here.  So they can do what they want.  But the crowds are so quiet.  Smackdown and Raw from less then a decade ago were louder then most WWE PPV's now.  Clearly they are having a hard time managing all of the new talent.

I have been watching Wrestling on and off since I was a kid.  This is def the worst I have seen the WWE at.  It's because they are trying to be kid friendly and they built their entire business model around it. Adults watch wrestling. Kids really don't watch wrestling anymore. They have talent, they have the budget, but this growth phase is painful to watch.

What I think the WWE lacks these days, that it certainly didn't lack during the attitude era is competition. When WCW was constantly keeping the pressure on WWE (then F) to constantly push the envelope, it created some of the greatest sports entertainment programming of all time! Don't get me wrong, even back then I was solidly behind WWE watching Raw, and rarely ever Nitro, but I think WWE might need a little competition to bring the edge back. If there was another wrestling promotion as big as WCW once was, I think watching WWE go to the lengths we know they are willing to go to crush their competition again would be an amazing thing to watch!

Dolph Ziggler for WWE World Heavy Champion. Ziggler has what it takes to be a champion. If anyone should beat Lesnar its him. Yeah sure he would be the underdog but that's the best part. Also that's why I can relate to Ziggler. I've been small all my life but I never stopped believing that anything is possible.

Maybe the ambition isn't there because you feed them all to Cena to get buried. Also, get a different tie Vince, it is horrid.
