Imagine being tens of thousands of dollars deep in student loan debt and then seeing migrants being paid to make themselves at home right on your campus. It must be enraging, even to the extreme bleeding hearts.

if I was a unwanted migrant I would run as fast as I can to New York. 5 star hotels bags of food free care products phones tv and games most likely room service and maid.come one come all. it truly is the best place to be if you are a migrant.what a wonderful place.lots of nice people.

Solution is New Yorkers first and help immigrants when there are resources available.

I have a recent SUNY grad and a retuning SUNY junior - these campuses can barely provide dorms for their STUDENTS. My daughter was TRIPLED her first year at Cortland. Other campuses are doing the same - putting 3 students in a room for 2, making smaller single rooms doubles, etc.

Some students didn’t have dorm rooms until the end of the first 2 weeks of class. How are they supposed to take on migrants as well?

I really hope that my fellow Suffolk County citizens vote to remove Steve Bellone. I'm surprised that he has lasted this long here.

What about state parks. Put up tents. I'm pretty sure it's better accommodations then the squalid conditions lived under in their home countries. Beggars can't be choosy.
