I've used both Instant Pot and the Cuisinart, I love my Cuisinart pressure cooker better than the Instant Pot.

I am seriously considering the purchase of a stovetop pressure cooker oh, and I have ruled out the instant pot. I know they are extremely popular right now, and to some extent, I understand the reason for their popularity. They take care of themselves, without the need for the cook to babysit the food. But here's my problem. Even the largest model at 8 quarts still does not have a lot of floor space on the bottom should I want to Brown or Sear something before adding the liquid and applying the pressure to cook it. For that reason, I have ruled out the instant pot for my kitchen. in addition, when you are only able to fill the pot 2/3 full, 8 quarts suddenly doesn't feel like it is all that large. I know some people who have the instant pot, and I don't fault them for it. If it does what they want it and need it to do, then that is awesome. It just doesn't quite do what I wanted to do.

Instant pot just came out with the Instant Pot Duo Crisper, which not only has all the same previous features but also now has a crisping air frying function to boot

Point being, you tested only 2 which isn’t reliable.
That and you never mentioned if you measured the pressure

My insta pot only last for 2 yrs and died on me...I've followed instructions to the T and it died...insta pot is NOT the best pressure cooker....my Insignia pressure cooker has been going strong 3 1/2 yrs now....Insta pot👎👎👎👎👎insta pot for the cost should more longevity...

however sources say that customer service sucks I bought two: Fagor and AIAQ love them both. AIAQ has ten yr guarantee. I have had it two weeks and want to get rid of many of my pots and pans also I can now cook in the summer.
Rice eggs meat chicken soups beautiful. I do not like cheese cakes made in the pressure cooker because of the pudding like texture so I will pass on that dish but so many others are awesome. I love them both and actually did not know what I was buying with the Fagor thinking it was just a pressure cooker not understanding the multi functionality and now I do!!!

I wish these companies used far less plastic parts. In the reviews, I keep reading how even expensive pressure cookers' plastic parts break or melt - some rather quickly.

The beretin has more features, a better display and its alot cheaper.I've had both and the beretin is far better.
