Intel has an Accountant as a CEO, Boeing has a Accountant as a CEO, Accountants don't make good CEOs for tech firms as they have no clue about the technology but ability to find unprofitable branches in the tech firms.

Intel also has AI chip called Gaudi 3 .The biggest loss of Intel was not participating in Mobile phone market and GPU failure. The number of people using laptops have reduced significantly . Its Market share is lost to smartphone makers

Intel's CPUs had ringbus issues as they were pushed too hard to compete with AMD and Apple. Nearly all the 13th and 14th Gen Intel CPUs are facing this problem are likely to fail under full throttle. This is a hardware problem that has affected its data center clients as well as OEMs. Ostensibly, shareholder confidence has eroded, and Intel's other ventures in GPUs have not paid off rich dividends (Intel's GPUs are promising though). It's 10 nm fabs are running on a skeleton crew as competitors like AMD and Apple are on 4nm and 3nm respectively.

China was happy to continue buying American chips, then America said oh no, it's too risky selling chips to China as its a national security threat.... China was its biggest market.... That forced China to innovate and start making their I am an African and I can bet you China's chip will make their way around the world.... The Nvidia boss knows He is an ethnic Chinese and he knows their mindset, determination and strong will to He himself is exactly like them.

To change, things go down before going up - the hockey stick effect. It is a cycle. You need to understand the transformation in the chip industry. All these companies have top notch engineers - new ground breaking innovations are around the corner. Patience and perseverance are hallmark of the silicon valley companies, not like the day to day journalism. Your youtube channel came about from the tech innovations from the silicon valley. Issues we see around are created by politicians, journalists not engineers and businessmen.

the best part is a company can not change strategy at time, and later the first thing they do is firing people .In this case they have fired 15000 jobs that means sufferer will be almost 45000 if I take 3 people in a family who are depending on single source of income. What a shame

It is expected, as the USA’s policy of limiting export to China is cutting its own chip industries the big American based companies are losing revenues and profitability. China’s local high tech companies are buying more competitive locally made chips at much lower prices thereby hitting the traditional companies even harder. The result is obvious, these companies have to reduce costs in order to survive thereby increasing the unemployment rate in those countries as the trade war between the USA and China intensifies, the shake out is at hand.

It’s the rotation to Small Cap as the Federal Reserve prepares to lower interest rates which is good for that sector of the economy

Govt should take strong action! They should not be allowed to cut off so much job just in matter of second.

Intel is late in AI accelerator, and they are paying the price for it. Many back-office servers are moving away from Intel. Plus, they are in process of building a huge chip making plants in US and that is draining their cash reserve. But in 5 years when Chip fight starts with China, Intel will come ahead in a big way. I am buying Intel at this discounted rate.
