Kaveri is weak link, time to work with Private sector in a consortium format, Public sector cannot run such projects efficiently, US is surely going to sanction and create hurdle in the Indian domestic projects.

Why would anyone share core technology with India. India must get away from just an assembler to producers of technology. Public sector monopoly is the reason for such mentality, time to make private sector part of the development, they want faster return of investment and will quadruple the effort and I am sure thing may come out of it within few years. the other problem is lack of investment in test bed for engines.
