The BIGGEST Problem with Lego Star Wars Clone Troopers | Lego Star Wars 2025+

Lego star wars clone troopers are some of the most popular and beloved minifigures today, with many people buying any sets with clone troopers in it in bulk. However, there are some flaws in the modern lego clone troopers, and some issues that aren’t as widely addressed compared to some things like the waist capes and the helmet holes. Today I want to address what I think is the Real Issue with Lego Star Wars Clone Troopers

Lego could just really print their own money if they did different clone legion sets, they would sell so many I think, because it would give just so much variation in the clones

My main problem isn’t the whole on the helmets, not the lack of arm printing, not even the wrong colors at times, how do you go from including cloth pauldron’s to printing them, it makes no sense.

they need to bring back phase 1 in just a few good sets while also keeping the demand for phase 2. those phase 1 sets could include some great named figs.

I don't get what fans were expecting with the phase 2 helmet holes. **the holes HAD to be above the bumps, look at any image of where the helmet attachments are attached to these helmets.**

It would be awesome if Lego Star wars did CMF packs of all the commanders, then did Battle packs of the different legions.

The true issue is that price and decreased quality has pushed many to third party brands. Getting generic third party body bucks and helmets and accessories from outfits like CAC or avfig or gcc allows for massive army building and much better looking troopers.

2013 - 2017 was PEAK.
They could have improved them with better leg prints, but no. They got replced by offbrand looking clones which predominantly look like the CW animated clones.
The new helmet also completely ruins the print on the top, and the kamas are printed on the front of the legs.

Tbh, nah modern Letgo clones are not in a good state at all with how many quality issues they’re having. Such blatant mistakes making some look crap like the 212th helmet and the entire fox figure, the karate belt kama’s and just how the helmets don’t look as good with the goofy helmet holes. Why have we gotten to a point where customs look more like Lego than what Lego is actually doing

If Lego made Clone batallions as much as Hasbro did, they would make even more money.

But they didn't and kept on recycling and making boring OT, ST sets over and over Again.

I don't get why they put Fives into a pure OT set, in my eyes the Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack should have been an aniversary set (As it is pretty much a redo of the very first BP anyways) and then contain him.
Also I don't think the last 501st BP was the unnecessary one, but the Ashoka-Clones should have been 212th instead.

As much as I’m fine with helmet holes, I would still enjoy it printed on ( still able to move )

I think the 501st battle pack should’ve been 327 instead, though with how bad the clones would’ve looked I’m glad they did battlefront 501st instead. I don’t want 327 now that clones are ugly, but I’ve accepted lego will never return to the normal helmets so either we’ll never get the 327 or they’ll just be ugly
