Nice review John. Some time back I picked up a couple of borescope cameras and was disappointed because the depth of field was crap and they had to be plugged into a cell phone.
Later I picked up an automotive.borescope and absolutely love it. A cousin brought a flower bed tiller with a 2 cycle engine. It wouldn't run well so I pulled the spark plug, stuck the camera in the hole and saw scoring all over the cylinder walls. In a fraction of the time it would have taken to pull the cover off to get to the exhaust port, I had a diagnosis and called the scope a winner.

Hi John had one of these for about 3 years great wee product, something I had considered installing is a small camera and monitor on the lathe to be able to see when boring or awkward jobs

they are very useful, especially when you are looking to find where that bastid bolt has dropped into.

They are useful things but I find their utility limited by the poor resolution of the images, and the back scatter caused by the lighting arrangement.

My consultant's got one. I assume it didnt come from Bangood although it bloody felt like it

realy bad quality at 3.15 minute, no good focus !
