Alright, time to truly settle this arguement:
Movie Sonic vs Prime Sonic (base forms)
Strength:movie sonic
Reason?: movie sonic was able to tank multiple punches from knuckles, who by the way: can break someone's hand just by holding it, so when his fist is charged up, that punch can probably kill a normal human and also, was able to literally fight off knuckles, who is a VERY experienced fighter, sure he got defeated later, but the fact that he was able to fight off knuckles, shows that movie sonic is a much stronger fighter than prime sonic, Whereas sonic prime sonic was unable to destroy a few egg mechs (not fully powered) and all he was able to do was just knock them out
Durability: Movie Sonic
Reason?: i've already explained this, sonic is able to tank multiple hits from knuckles in the second movie, sonic prime sonic on the other hand can be knocked out temporarily with a simple shadow punch
IQ/BIQ: Movie Sonic
Reason?: Movie sonic, unlike prime sonic, actually thinks things through, in the first movie, whilst he is running from robotnik, he realizes that to outrun him, he must blind him with the sand of the desert first and prior to the chase at the end of the movie, sonic, instead of just outright attacking the robotnik drone impulsively, he decides to sneak attack it to catch it off guard and in the second movie, he came up with the plan to distract robotnik and take the master emerald from him and then use the same master emerald to fight against robotnik, whereas prime sonic can easily make repulsive decisions just by insulting rainbow dash- i mean, tails, and both eggman and tails knew this to be the case since eggman was "egging" him on to get him to attack the robot, which by the way, it was such an obvious trap, that even Big could've seen it coming and even tails warned NOT to follow eggman's plans but he didn't listen, hence why sonic prime even happens.

Endurance: Movie Sonic
Reason?: yeah i accidentally explained this in an earlier category, but i'll re-explain it here, movie sonic was able to tanks multiple hits from knuckles, who can break someone's hand just by holding it, so i imagine a fully powered punch from knuckles can kill your average human, whereas prime sonic got knocked out by a simple shadow punch.
Offence: Both
Reason?: they both have different styles of attacks, but in the end, they both are still effective in the offence category, since sonic prime mainly uses his spin dash to attack, but it is pretty effective against the egg mechs that the chaos counsel makes, even the super powered ones, same can be said with movie sonic, whilst i would've given this point to movie sonic since he is able fend off multiple robotnik drones on his own, honestly so can prime sonic, so both will get offence.
Defense: Movie Sonic
Reason?: for those who are wondering, the reason i gave defense to movie sonic is because, not only is he able to tanks attacks that could normally kill your average human being from knuckles, but mainly because movie sonic is pretty good at defending against attacks unless caught off guard, like in the second movie where in his fight against knuckles sonic was able to defend against knuckles' attacks until knuckles got the one lucky hit, now prime sonic is kinda the same, but is caught off guard much easier, as seen in the sonic v shadow fight where when an explosion happened in the mountain, sonic completely left himself open to shadow's attack which really hurts sonic prime's defense.

Reasoning?: if this is the same sonic from the games (prior to forces or even lost world) then i think this explains itself
Speed (optional): Movie Sonic
Reasoning?: movie sonic can literally stop time, run to the ends of the earth and back in a few seconds and run on water like it's his average jog, and prime sonic can't even run on water without his hover shoes, isn't even that fast since average egg mechs can catch up to him like it's no big deal and can't even stop time at all.
Winner?: Movie Sonic (mid to high difference)
