Kansas City rescue team helping with Hurricane Helene

Animal Search and Rescue, a local Kansas City-based organization, has been on the ground in western North Carolina for about a week now.

Thank you, wonderful rescue group, so glad that state is allowing them to help. On national news across the U.S. there have been reports from people that Fema hasn't been seen. Other reports are about how people with private planes tried to deliver supplies and help, to be threatened with jail if they landed. Not only has this been as bad as Katrina, it's starting to sound like there has been purposeful delaying of help just like Katrina.
