When I was in high school and we had exchange students, one of the first things we learned were each other's swear words. At one point in my misspent youth, I could curse like a sailor in 11 different languages lol!

This is so true. I was translating a novel from English to arabic.
And there was a scene where two enemies were cursing each other. The swearing when translated to arabic was so weak and just hilarious, the readers said they sounds like two innocent children fighting over something simple and not grown men hating each other.

As a saudi, the accuracy is sooo hilarious and the fact that he didn’t try to cover the words has made it so much better that any other show

He's right.. English curse words got nothing on people who are bi-lingual...often curse words hurt more in a different language 😅😂

As a Polynesian married to an Arab, this is so hilarious and very, very educational. So on point about the Arabic curse words, which I heard repeatedly as the guys mock each-other... my first introduction to Arabic. My mother-in-law was so shocked/horrified at the accuracy to which I could curse back!

As an Arabic student, this was more helpful than my classes.

What's more scary is that he barely scratched the surface of the Arabic curse words 😅

5:19 “I seek forgiveness in God” but then proceed to curse someone’s entire DNA 😂

In Yoruba, a common curse is oloriburuki, which can be translated to “Your head is rotten”

This is still entry-level curse, but very few English curses will match that intensity

As an Arab I always found that English swear words very weak...while in Arabic you can get very creative as it's not just swear words, it's complete swearing sentences full of obscenities and graphic details towards the other guy's mother, sister, wife..

Spanish has lots of colorful curses! I'm sure I only know the tip of the iceberg, but my favorite so far is "I shit on everything that moves." 😂

Circassian from Jordan here:
Our hellos:
How are you? How's your mom, how's your dad, how's your sister and brother and your neighbor, and your neighbor's brother?
Our goodbyes:
It's early! Why are you leaving so soon? We're gonna have coffee (proceed to stay another 20 min). Attempt another goodbye: Salem 3la (say hi to) your mom, your dad, your sister and brother and your neighbor, and your neighbor's brother.

Yiddish cursing is unique. For example: "May you grow like an onion with your head in the ground." "May you lose all your teeth except one to give you a toothache." "May you run to the bathroom every three minutes or every three months."
