So, for those curious about the Flag on the moon, since there is no wind on the moon, they put a rigid rod inside the top of the flag, so it would look like it was flying instead of hanging limp. While the flag was initially being set up it bounced around a bit, but now that nobody's touched the flags for decades they should be quite still wherever we next visit them.
