Mounting 2025 Faction Studio 2 Skis with a Salomon Strive 16 Bindings for On Snow Testing

We can't wait to get on snow! Here's Jeff mounting up a pair of Faction Studio 2 with Salomon Strive 16 to his Nordica Speedmachine 130 BOA. This will be one of many early season on-snow review setups!

Fascinating to watch!! I was just wondering what to do with my bindings... I just got pair of new boots that are a tish longer than my old boots. I have marker bindings and I am wondering if, for a 285mm shell versus a 275mm shell on my old ones, if I can just screw back the heel piece on the adjustable marker binding?? Reason I ask, is because I also have a pair of 275MM in the same boot and I'm trying to decide which pair of boots I want to ski in, which might require testing them out on the slopes before I can decide.

why are you measuring the ski? Don't you use the center mount?

Hey Jeff, question for you guys: When you guys test skis, do you do anything to control binding delta and tunes to make sure any differences you feel are a result of the skis and not those tunes/binding differences?

After you drill the hole and before your mount the bindings do u scrape the top of the hole to make it flat around the top of the hole again? Or do u leave the material that’s bulged up around the hole there?
